Thanks for sharing that! When I was a teen I worked at a newspaper that
was next door to a small bmw dealership in a small city in VA. I would go
in after school and develop film for the photographers. One day one of the
reporters grabbed me and said there was something I had to see next door.
He was a car guy from way back. A customer was taking delivery of a M1 at
this little dealership. I knew it was a cool car but not much more than
that. My colleague gave me some of the details and I was more impressed.
When the low key customer picked it up he drove it off the lot in 3rd gear
instead of 1st because he was unfamiliar with the shifter.
