I installed the Van Cafe kit. I don’t have any evidence that the adapter or starter caused the issue. My first hunch is that I did something foolish while I was installing it. I replaced the clutch and clutch release arm and bushing at the same time. 


After I get the gearbox out I will inspect further and report my findings.
