Subject: 1.8 motor questions
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Greetings from Victoria BC. Headed home to Winnipeg with the kids. My wife had to fly home for work.

Wondering if anyone with 1.8 litre conversions can help me. I bought a pretty rough 90 cabriolet last year partly in case I ever needed a motor. Partly :)

It runs well but when warmed up (after say 40 minutes) will start hesitating with a very strong smell of gas. I replaced the blue temp sensor as per online research but no help. Wondering if anyone else has come across this?

Thanks Jeff 85 Westfalia GL with 2008 Boston Bob
