Festoon bulb is a type of bulb that is tubular or barrel shaped with the electrical contacts at each end.

I don’t know how long it would take for the LEDs bulbs to deplete what ever battery you have. The LED power usage is a fraction of the halogen incandescent. Plus it’s dimmable . The draw of the stock bulbs… I can’t recall. I don’t have a stock light unit installed . I think Simon mentions something in the vid on my blog
