There is many right ways to go. And even some product mixing can help with costs.

But, I’m actually looking for help to understand decoupled mass loaded Vinyl. The material to keep sound from entering the van at all. The deadening products are helping with vibration and tone but this other stuff should keep road, wind, and engine noise out of the interior.

I hope to learn as I go.

I am more comfortable with other sound deadening products as they are easier for me to cut and apply, less messy for me, and I suspect lighter. Also, in a pinch, And I do make mistakes more then others, I can get it off with only a little struggle and the metal is clean and like before. I always like being able to go back. Still, all I have applied is still sticking solidly many years later.

Luckily, I got a discount on Prime day for the material I like the most.

Keep the tips coming!
