It was a simple task: Fix that dreaded scraping when turning the wheel. Replaced the signal lever assembly a couple weeks back, and that helped for a day but still didn’t do the trick. The scrape was back the next day. A new GW horn ring just arrived, so I switched out the old and installed the new. Again, simple. Put the wheel back on and turned the ignition. Horn is now always on whenever I turn on the ignition. I took off the wheel and re-examined, and everything seems to be in the right place. New ring looks straight. What am I missing? I know it’s got to be something simple. Matt ‘88 Westy Missoula, MT |
