How interesting! Such a brilliant person and he preferred a vW vanagon for his ride! In college I got my first bay window. I removed the middle seat both for a bed but also to fit several friends who used wheelchairs. Later a student using a electric chair purchased a twin to my bus and used a ramp to drive up into it. Frankly not the most likely of vans for Accessability but it worked. Today I still have a friend that uses a vanagon and a wheelchair. No lift in any of these vans but I’ve heard of lift equipped vanagons. I’m pretty sure this particular van is out of my reach. Eric Caron
