Been using this mod for a few years, but this last year the original strip failed 2/3 along length.

Put in new strip, the cob like led rather than the discrete obvious led elements. They still are discrete leds light sources in there, but the over all effect is one of continuous strip of light.

Any, adhesive backed and thick clear coated front as was the last one. I like this mod, esp with my touch dim switch.
