Heading off to Klanawa valley. We have some fav places in that area but last time we were there I was attracted to this logged hill.

Yeah , not much of pretty campsite, but if it’s anything like a similar spot nearby, we should be able to look out over to the pacific and south to nitinat.


Kinda like having some sort of goal on a meandering trip. 


Be heading to Klanawa the round about way, via port renfrew to cowichan lake along Gordon main. Check out the exclusion zone at port renfrew ( logging protest site).


Going slow , so first night, tonight, will be on a hill over looking nitinat lake.
