Ed, I have not resolved this problem and you may have the answer. I have a newly installed 2l in-line 4 VW engine and using a coolant tank from a Eurovan which has the level sensor incorporated in the tank. For the first few hundred miles there was no problem then all of a sudden this coolant light problem came up.
