I'm replacing the short (2") hose that connect two steel pipes, one coming from the water pump and one going to the rear of the right head.
You can see a photo here: https://www.icloud.com/sharedalbum/#B0QGI9HKKGrwNKs The two pipes are about 10mm apart, and there's not enough room to install the new hose. I will need to remove or loosen one of the steel pipes. The one that attaches to the right head looks like the easiest one to get to. I have those nuts soaking in Kroil right now. Am I on the right track here? If I remove that flange on the right head I will need to replace the gasket correct? I wasn't counting on that and don't have one on hand. -Mark '87 Syncro |
