Couple years ago my Syncro coolant tower sprung leak. This was slightly different than most as the leak was for a temp sensor in the end of the tower, for the old bbw 46 coolant heater. Anyway… I bought , not made, aluminum replacement. Van Café. Nicely made, good welds. Can see it ever failing . The one I have is plastic and at least 20 years old. I have a plastic replacement that I've had in my parts stash for years but now wondering if I should just get one of the aluminum or stainless steel replacements that are available. Both are similarly priced, is one better than the other? Any reports of failures with these metal parts? > > Thanks, > Mark > '87 syncro |
