 Thank you for sharing this Karl.  Relieved to understand that even with broken body, Scott's mind is strong.  No....he would never know me....but I was a big fan of him, and like I said I still use his wisdom and suggestions regularly, whether on my Vanagon or around the house or whatever.  When you chat with him, assure him that we very much appreciated all his words of advice and his care and concern, and that we miss him.

 Scott Foss. Turbovans. Daniel was his middle name I believe. in 2016 he fell
off a second story balcony at his house in HI, onto lava rock, and was
paralyzed. He was extremely lucky to survive. He's been in and out of many
treatment centers since. I've been in touch with him about once a year or so
since (by phone), which reminds me I need to call him again. His brain is
fine, his body took quite a hit. I visited him twice in the hospital. When
we talk, he usually steers the conversation to Vanagons, ha! His business of
course is closed and everything sold off last I heard. So sad how it all
happened. If anyone would like to chat with him I can share his number
privately.
