I have a question for anyone with Vanistan/Intrepid oil cooler. Did you adjust the setting for the temperature that the fan turns on? Instructions say that it should come set to turn on fan at 200-210F but mine seems to come on around 160F. I have an oil temperature gauge (sender mounted in sump) and used an infrared thermometer to gauge the temperature of the oil cooler radiator when the fan comes on. In casual driving at ambient temp in low 50s the fan was continually cycling once the oil warmed up. Just wondering what others experiences have been. -Mark |
