This is admittedly a minor annoyance, but I thought it was going to be a simple, quick fix... I've now replaced the steering wheel (with another OEM Vanagon wheel), the contact ring, and the turn signal switch and hit it with a dab of dielectric, but the grinding is still there when I turn the wheel. Seems pretty straight forward, but the dumbest question is always the one you don't ask. So... What am I missing? *Matt* Missoula, MT '88 Westy, *Ragnar LoafBrick* |
