Update

Worked through the collective list as methodically as possible. Everything
seems good (confirmed spark and injectors again) except that I could not
get a resistance reading on the rotor (replaced it) and two plug wires had
v. low resistance so I replaced them with used ones that I had (not great,
but better than the two that were in).
Good news is that she fired up and ran, albeit a little on the rough side.
Also, both the battery and oxygen sensor red idiot lights did not
extinguish as they usually do after increasing the rpms. A little light
(pun intended) reading tonight, then we'll see what tomorrow brings.
Will order the NGK BP6ET 3 pronged plugs, and new rotor, distributor and
plug wires.
Should probably get a backup coil and fuel pump as well, since we all know
there will be a 'next time'.
I will put together everyone's suggestions under separate heading so that
those who wanted a copy will have one.
Not completely finished yet, but feel much better now that she has started
and run again.
