I bet the uniWerks site has pictures and descriptions of the plastic used. His shipping is not expensive and many products are very reasonably priced.

I have screens on my 85. I’m tempted to try your trick of drilling one small hole in each screen to help with the drain. If the Uniwerks screens work better I’ll be popping them in down the road.

Rather then screens and glue he sells five pop in discs that let water in but keep out large debris. Price about $8.00. I received mine today and popped them in. They take a bit of force to press in but become nearly flush. They are a perfect fit. I used them on my 84 Westfalia. > > No need to remove the rack to install and they certainly seem solid. > > I plan to get a second set and keep them for when the 85 screens give out or if I find the others work better.
