I had the very same problem on my van (gas pedal went flat with no connection)... a L shaped rod attached to the pedal and hooked to the mechanism thru the hole, My problem was the rod was unhook down there but still attached to the pedal. From the inside I removed the rod, reattached the mechanism and reattached the rod to the pedal. Later on I replaced the whole mechanism down there. Your problem may be different but here is a reference. https://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=138530 On Sat, Dec 3, 2022 at 12:42 PM Jamie Auch <jamie@kookymathteacher.com> wrote: > Dear Folks, > I have a quick question that should > not take time away from the list.
