Crud.  I am not sure at all.  The epoxy stuff is an amazing product.  It is incredibly strong and durable.  And very easy to work with.  Others will recommend the whole shebang--cutting out old stuff, welding in new stuff, body putty and primer and endless hours of sanding and finishing, and then of course nice spray paint to finish the job.  Much has been described on The Samba, and also Facebook too.  Depends largely too on how long you plan to keep your Vanagon.  And how fussy you are.  And your economic situation.

Any suggestions of a specific product that would withstand windshield and gasket installation? ?
