hi all, I have a 1989 van 2.1 WBX with intermittent starting problems (cranks but not starting) and sometimes when it starts it stalls when I give it some gas. After looking all over, replacing this and that, my last suspect is that the AFM connector is bad (when it doesn't start I remove the AFM connector and put it back on it starts right away). I plan to replace the AFM connector - so my questions are... - Do I have to cut the old one one out and crimp the new one in? - Is it possible to run the new one parallel to the old one without cutting anything? - Where is the other end of the AFM connector connected to? thank you, *Happy Holidays* to you and the family... |
