Years ago I installed 7" Jeep LED headlights, with a white halo that turns off and flashes yellow with the turn signal. I'm pretty happy with them.

The LEDs I installed have the white halo come on as daytime running lights that turn off when you turn the main lights on. I fiddled with a DPDT relay to make those be off, but turn on when I turn on the sidelights, and stay on when the headlights come on.
