Yes, there is a Subaru/Vanagon List....similar to this one. On that list, it is STRICTLY enforced that conversations must only be about putting a Subie engine into Vanagon; good enough. Sometimes, the questions and content will bleed over to the "in between". At that point, discussion is encouraged and re-directed towards this List or Facebook Vanagon Owners Group.
But for sure....the numbers of Vanagon Owners with Subaru engines are swelling. Lots and lots. So, don't be surprised if questions/suggestions appear. Yes, all of us loved our WBX motors; we had fantastic times and adventures. And we still love WBX, I do. We understand that the conversion is expensive, has it's own share of miseries; and it's fair share of wonderfulness. So, please accept and understand that Subie motor Vanagons are indeed part of this List.

Hi John,
I was wondering if someone on the list has the subscription info for John for the Vanagon Subaru list? I enjoy this conversation but wonder if the list with more Subaru vanagon owners might be helpful. I’m pretty sure there is one.
I sort of wish we were all on the same list as issues relate no matter what power plant you use. And the Subaru talk has been really interesting.
Those I know with Subaru motors are enjoying them mostly, but they also have ongoing technical and support needs.
