Dropbox is horrible, I consider it a virus. I once worked for a non-profit
of which a board member convinced the rest of the board to adopt dropbox. I
worked for the board as the executive director. When dropbox gained access
to my computer, it cleaned out every single folder that had a file in it
that I developed for the non-profit. It also cleaned out hundreds of images
that belonged to me that I had used in the various projects I did for this
non-profit over a decade. Those folders are empty to this day and many of
my photos are gone. I had no warning of this, I just discovered it one
morning. Fortunately, I have multiple archives of everything I do but
sometimes it might take me a couple of hours to find what once was at my
fingertips. No thanks, dropbox.
