Ya know Jim, I have excellent success doing the JB Weld 2 part epoxy junk.  I mean, you slice off a piece.  You knead it.  You form it.  You apply it.  Heck, you can practically make anything you desire, for cheap!  And that stuff is incredibly strong.  Has served me well all around Vanagon, at at home too.  I think it would do a great job on cluster tabs.
