Jim, I certainly am in agreement with you. Had it not been for others to
willingly share their knowledge and understanding of our vehicles I would
have been lost a long time ago. I get so much greater enjoyment from my van
because of it. You are a direct example of that in that you helped -
actually you did most of the work. I was just a sidewalk superintendent -
remove the dash, repair a dead dash fan, then reinstall it all. I was a
lost puppy in that project. It was through this list that we made contact.
For that I am forever grateful. Matt Yester here in Birmingham is another.
He did the installation of the Subaru engine in my van. From accidents I
got so crippled up I could not do it myself. He came to the rescue.
I will stick with this list for as long as it lasts and as long as I have a
Vanagon.
