Hi folks,

Looking for tips on defroster repair. 

I recently installed the GW third brake light on my 84 and discovered that the defroster wire was broken. 

This is a very large wire. 

I’m planning to splice together and see if the defroster works.

Any tips for me about the circuit and how to check it? 

I feel sort of silly fixing it as we honestly never use it, but I love having everything working if I can. 

        But, rarely is a repair as easy as just connecting a broken wire! 

Experiences and observations appreciated.
