Problem with my sliding door has been fixed by Jeff at A/C Autohaus of Orange City, FL.

The striker pin on my Vanagon has enough wear on that it will not hold the rear of the sliding door closed.  The striker pin is shown as Item 1 in picture 58-231 on Page 58.15 in the 07/1991 edition of Bentley.
