Lots of people still use flip phones, and a fair number have no wireless phone at all. My sister-in-law tells people that if they want to communicate with her when not in her presence, to send her a letter or call her on her land line. Unlike OlRiverRat, she has no computer whatsoever, and is happy without it. When she goes shopping, she goes by the bank first, to get the cash she needs, because she has no credit cards, and prefers cash over checks, though she does use checks to pay bills. I only switched from a flip phone to an Android a few months ago, and actually not by choice, but because the wireless carrier I used stepped up to 5G service and my phone would no longer work much of the time. mcneely On Mon, Mar 27, 2023 at 6:58 PM OlRivrRat <OlRivrRat@comcast.net> wrote: > On 27 Mar , 2023, at 2:00 PM, Richard Koerner <rjkinpb@SBCGLOBAL.NET> > wrote: > > > > Why we don't use flipphones. > > I still use a FlipPhone > > & a 2009 MacPro Tower that has been upgraded to 2012 ~ > > & a 2001 PT Cruiser > > & 1990 Vangon Westy with 2001 Impreza RS EJ25 > |
