The main reason I was onto Texas is that I have lots of family and friends there, and am very familiar with the state's geography, having lived there off and on for decades. Yes, the eclipse will move northeast from Texas across SE Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri and on to your neck o'the woods. It will in fact be the best eclipse in a century for the most heavily populated parts of the country, being handy to San Antonio, Dallas, Little Rock, St. Louis, Pittsburgh, a good part of the state of New York. Boston even has a shot, iirc. There also is, btw, an anualar eclipse this year, coming ashore in Oregon and moving SE from there to exit the country in S Texas after crossing Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico. Such an eclipse is spectacular. So far as populated places, Denver and San Antonio will both get good looks. Google it. mcneely On Thu, Apr 13, 2023 at 6:23 AM Eric Caron <ericcaron96@comcast.net> wrote: > Hey folks, > > I was trying to figure out how to be near the total eclipse.
