I think you should be able to ask at least $10,000 more then you are

Russell is a 1984 Volkswagen Vanagon Wolfsburg Westfalia. He has been good
to us over the last several years and now it’s time to let another family
enjoy him.


Rebuilt 4 speed transmission has less than 12,000 miles. I’m told the
engine was rebuilt at around the 90,000 mile mark, but I can’t confirm
that. Last compression check seems to suggest so in all cylinders.
On top of the rebuilt transmission, I have put a lot more money into
Russell since I’ve had him, including:
Clutch.
Entire cooling system has been gone through including new radiator, rear
heater core, hoses, new higher output cooling fan, etc.
New muffler and tail pipe.
GoWesty Electronic GPS speedometer.
Water pump.
All new fuel lines.
Blower motor for front heater box.
Last summer complete tune-up (has not been driven much since).
Windshield wiper motor, wipers, and sprayer.


Note: The paint was new when I bought Russell four years ago, but it was
not a high quality paint job and there is some seam rust.
