I am not an expert but this is what are the basics he should do, depending
on what was done before he bought it...

*- Change all the fuel lines.*
- Replace the fuel filter.
- Change the oil and oil filter.
- Clean or replace the air filter.
- Replace the spark plugs and the spark plugs wires.
- Clean the throttle body.
- Adjust the throttle body switch.

and maybe...
- replace the Temp2 sensor at the thermostat tower.
- replace the fuel pressure regulator.

Please add more suggestions to help him....
