I’m following this thread with interest.

Recently my 84 slider started doing something unexpected.

I used to be able to lock the door before shutting it. I would put the lock button down then shut door. I can still do this with my 85. And friend with 84 showed me the method. It is convenient and quick.

So, suddenly I can’t do that any more. The button will not go down until the door is shut.

Also, the door makes a louder then usual snap sound at the rear latch. I also find the rear latch very hard to move by hand.

What adjustments might I want to do and how is it done?

I hope this builds on Dan’s question and doesn’t hyjack it.
