hi all, This on a 1991 tintop Syncro. This is the part that rubs on the bottom of the railing.. https://www.thesamba.com/vw/gallery/pix/2345937.jpg It's under the L shaped bracket, it rubs on the bottom side of the railing where it rides on. It rubs at the end where the door is about to close. I removed it and installed 2 new roller bearings (vertical and horizontal) but the problem is still there. This is the part that rubs on the bottom of the railing.. https://www.thesamba.com/vw/gallery/pix/2345937.jpg Could this L shape bracket be bent? https://www.thesamba.com/vw/gallery/pix/2282640.jpg or are there some adjustments to do? Thank you for your help... *(Note: the van never been in an accident, I am the 2nd owner)* dan |
