This question relates to my '91 Vanagon. I plan on replacing the antenna. I remember from doing the same job on my long gone '84 Vanagon, I had to remove the left headlight. I don't know if it is my aging eyes, but the headlights on my '91 seem less bright than they should be. I have never done any work on my '91 (everything done by shops), so I have never taken off the front grill, etc. My copy of Bentley, which supposedly covers everything from 1980-1991, doesn't even show the inner headlights. So is changing out the headlights as easy as it was on my '84, or am I heading for trouble? BTW, if you live in the Deland, FL, area, I have had good results having AC Autohaus in Orange City work on my Vanagon. Thank you, John |
