Please keep this topic on the list. I love it. But, I will have little to offer about the actual conversion.
I can tell you that there is a very large Facebook group dedicated to this. I read some posts but I never find that format very helpful. Still it would be a good starting point. I think there were about 2,000 people in the group.
I remember years ago someone was building a stretch but I don’t know how that ever worked out.
I think many are using the Chevy bolt drive train.
Also, I think there is a conversion of the later vans, like T5 or T6 where they pull the gas motor and convert to EV. So that system is happening in Europe.
Start Googling and keep us posted.
I hope others have more useful info.
