Hi rob,

I remember another poster mentioning that he could pull out his key while driving and then put it back. So, this may be something all vanagon’s do and not something broken. Maybe they just didn’t think someone would pull it out so they didn’t need a locking method.

Others can speak to this, I’ll just leave my key in when van running!
