Subject: Unexpected Speedo fix
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hi Foks,

I posted earlier that I had to tighten the front wheel nuts. Thanks to Dennis who talked me through it and my semi retired neighbor who helped I got it done quick.

But, unexpectedly after doing this to both front wheels a unexpected improvement happened.

We had to play with the speedo cable a bit to get it out into the cap and then carefully get the C clip back on. Luckily friend is a retired Vet with surgery skills. He got it done nicely.

But, then we left for a 700 mile trip, and by the end I realized my wife had not smacked the instrument panel lid even once.

The needle used to some times stop working though the odometer seemed to be working. Now, after the wheel nut repair no more speedo issues.

What could we have done that improved it?
