Yup,

Prices on the vans are sad. Too high for lots of regular folks.

The other thing is that people that can afford them may not care or expect to need to care for them. Then they find there is no easy mechanic.

It is great when you find a well maintained van, but it still is best to either have a plan to keep it up with skilled help or learn to do the care, or both.

And people might think a high price means 10 years of no worries. Not true.

And, then there is my other concern. What happens to the van when I’m not able to use or care for it? I want to try to find someone to keep it up. So, I put mine in my will and some unsuspecting van friends are going to get a surprise if I am no longer around.

I just hope they consider it a gift and not a millstone.
