Eric, about 800,000 km of driving of my ’87 West I’ve NEVER had a torn or defective CV boot. The boots I have had were various ones. Some came with new axle assemblies from SUR-TRAC, ULTRA 8 or GNK. The ones I have now when I installed new LOBRO CV joints are GNK if my memory serves me well. You need to look for the manufacturer not the supplier.
