All, I was so inspired by all the replies about this device, especially the cost of a new one, that I started in on the storage parts search in a serious way. I found it! Also many other things I hadn't remembered I was missing.

It's black, made of 1/4 or 3/8s steel stock, and if I remember correctly [a Big assumption] comes very close to the body when used. Maybe Derek or Bell or Felder can invent a mod that will correct or help that? Doesn't matter now I have it so can go to Syncro Safari 23! Lord will and the creek don'... well it doesn't matter much if the creek rises, now does it? 9" plus clearance, knobby tires, front and rear lockers. I should be good. Thanks to all on this.

Mike
