Yeah you can do in 2wd. With some conditions.

When we are out there I don’t  go crazy with rough climbs etc. partly cos of risk of breaking down alone out of cell range, partly cos my good wife silently makes it clear this particular road is just not on.

So most roads 2wd ok. But… having the lower “g” gear in the Syncro means I can go slower up bumpies without loosing traction. And on some of the roads it was steep and loose surface and bumpy… I could feel the front wheels grabbing in the 4wd.

But more of less I’ve done the same type roads in 2wd. Maybe a bit hairier …
