Subject: Early 84 sliding door mechanism - need a part!

Hello Friends,

A critical part failed/broke on my slider mechanism that I cannot find on our vendors' websites. Would anyone have a spare Early '84 slider mechanism (I'll buy the whole thing, but just need the Operating Cam).

Referencing Bentley 58.8, I need an Operating Cam (middle right on page). Mine cracked and separated. While the door works so-so since I did not lose the cracked Cam pieces, its days are numbered as this piece is going to fall out in the not too distant future.

By the way, on other notes, I just had an engine rebuild (by not me, but a qualified rebuilder), using a 2.1 case, new heads, 2.2 pistons/jugs (new), while maintaining the 1.9 wiring/externals, and installing the RMW SS exhaust. Just breaking in. The idle searches so looking for a vacuum leak. Also just ordered Mansispeed fuel injectors (waiting on mail), so interested to see any improvements.

Please contact me directly if you have a spare slider unit or just the Operating Cam. Thanks!

Kind regards,

Skip
