After having my auto trans 85 westy serviced and a new throttle cable installed I found the big throttle spring is missing and the van is a little jumpy when starting out. Power is good during acceleration and kick down is spot on. What is the purpose of that spring? Is it only to pull back the throttle switch (s)? Is a new one needed to stop the jumpy start? Is the long throttle cable spring needing adjustment? Spencer |
