Rick, I have a whole youtube video detailing what I do on a head gasket
replacement here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dIQmqVRx23M&t=17s
I only buy the two new heads and a complete engine gasket set as it comes
with the glue you need. I use that glue, and have never had a problem with
it. I only use glue on the rubber head gasket on the side that is facing
the head after using some scotch brite to rough up the surface a little and
clean up with some brake cleaner. I use no sealant on the rubber o-rings
or metal rings although I usually tack the metal seals in place with a
couple of dabs of glue just so it doesn't move when you are putting the
head on.
If you have any more questions, the video should be able to answer them as
it is pretty step by step and in depth. As always we stand ready to supply
all of the parts you might need for this job as well.
Sincerely, Ken Wilford
