Thank you for this. And I easily located the flasher relay with these directions. And double check by listening and feeling it during operation.
So, My LED update project hit a snag.
I replaced all the exterior bulbs except the flashers.
I tried the flashers with the new relay and it didn’t work. The first flasher didn’t seem to be working.
I exchanged the flasher relay and the second one operated but with all turn bulbs in place it just made a nasty noise. With only two LET turn bulbs in. Both in rear. The 4 ways worked correctly and the turn signals worked fast.
I tried cleaning all connections. I did this with a sighted friend. We also replaced one small spade connector that was in bad shape. And we cleaned up many connections. Nothing changed.
I think this relay is good but who knows. It works at least where as the first one did nothing.
Any tips on what to try to get the signals to work with LEB bulbs is appreciated.
In the meantime my bulb connections got a good servicing and the bad connector is fixed so lots of good came out of the effort. Not to mention all the other outside bulbs are nice and bright.
