You may check the ground wires from engine to chassis and from battery to chassis. Probably there is sufficient current missing to pull in starter. In case starter had pulled in there is a switch attached to solenoid which closes circuit to the starter motor. In case engine runs free without starter pulled in but starter is still turning, there is something wrong with that switch attached to solenoid. |
