Hi ,

It’s can happen, it does happen. It happened to me too.

I’m not saying this is the leak cause, but for me it was weeping head gasket, the rubber gasket we all know and love. When cold outside it leaked more .

You can do your searches on this. Short story is usually corrosion on the mating surface of the aluminum head to rubber gasket results in weeping and leaking of coolant.

It’s a bit of a subject , but my advice is to research and prepare for heads off repair.
