 Hi Evan.  Just saw this.  You might want to get your parts together before you contact a shop.  The stuff Dean (OlRvrRat) recommended may be what you need.  I have purchased from Heritage in the UK, and it;s good quality and inexpensive.  The UK has a large VW bus love.
Let me know if you still want to talk to Doug now.
