Hello all. I have good news for all those who are experiencing a wonky speedometer. While at a visit to FAS in Maine I was told about Cory Shepherd. He has a place in VA named Specialty Guage and he fixes VW speedometers, as well as Porsch, , Mercedes, BMW, etc. Not cheap, but he is good at what he does and there is a short turnaround time, Jon at FAS has had quite a few speedos done with no problems and Cory stands behind his work.
Here's the skivvy. Cory ShepherdManassas. VA703-402-4008http://www.specialtyguage.com
Check out his site. He also sells gears for those who want to give it a shot.
