My mechanic installed all new wheel bearings I got from Ken Wilford so I know they are the correct ones. Anyway, now there is a noise that I can’t pinpoint while driving. I spoke with Ken and he told me that one side their is a ridge so you can’t push them into far but on the other bearing, their is no ridge and if you press the bearing to far in it will tear up the bearings. He sent me a set but what do I tell my mechanic so this doesn’t happen again. It’s a 1987 2-wheel Vanagon with automatic transmission. Thanks wis list members here.
